Amerks drop their 5th straight in Hershey

The Amerks are having a hard time getting two points.  They lost their 5th consecutive game on Saturday night in a 3-1 loss against the Hershey Bears.

Tyler Plante had his first shot in goal with 39 saves which was just not enough to keep the team ahead.  Kamil Kreps scored the lone Amerks’ goal.

The Amerks will try to break their losing streak this weekend with three games in three nights.  Friday night’s game is at home against the Syracuse Crunch at 7:35 pm.  The first 10,000 fans will receive a magnet schedule.

Friday’s game will also feature “sweets in the suites,” a special ticket promotion for Halloween. Children 12 and under who arrive in costume can receive a free ticket to the game with a purchase of one adult ticket. They can trick or treat during the first intermission of the game up in the suite level and in the main concourse of The Blue Cross Arena. There will be a “best costume” contest during the second intermission.Â

Saturday the Amerks travel down the 90 to Syracuse for the second game in this home and home series starting at 7:30 pm.  Sunday the Amerks are back at home against the Binghamton Senators at 6:05 pm.
