(Rochester, NY)… Rochester Americans Vice President of Business Operations Rob Kopacz announced today the team’s ticket promotions and discount packages for the 2011-12 American Hockey League season.
New to this season is the “Tim Hortons Two for Two Days”, which offers two 200-End tickets, two Tim Hortons travel mugs and two First Coffee Free coupons starting at just $22.00 for all Tuesday and Thursday night home games. Fans can start taking advantage of this special offer on Thursday, October 13 when the Amerks host the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins in the franchise’s 56th Home Opener at The Blue Cross Arena.
Wednesday nights will again serve as the Amerks Business Person Special as part of the new “WindDown Wednesdays” promotion. Fans who turn in their business cards at The Blue Cross Arena Box Office will receive best available seating for just $11.00.
Beginning this season, the Amerks are encouraging all college students to “Ditch the Dorms” on Friday nights and bring the party downtown for Amerks College Nights. Current students who present a valid college ID at the Box Office can get best available seating anywhere in the arena for as low as $10.00. In conjunction with Savor Catering at The Blue Cross Arena, fans can enjoy “Amerks Happy Hour” from 6:30-7:30 in the Upper Atrium Bar with $2 drafts courtesy of Molson and Coors Light.
“Hockey Night in Rochester” will be the theme for Saturday home games this season, rewarding fans with a special discount for showing their true colors. Fans who come to the games wearing either an Amerks or Sabres jersey can also receive best available seating for as little as $12.00.
Returning for 2011-12 season is the “Red Hot Sunday Funday” promotion, which will again feature the Zweigle’s Family Four Pack. For the third straight year, fans can purchase four hot dogs, four sodas and four 200-End tickets to any Sunday home game for the low price of just $44.00. In conjunction with Savor Catering at The Blue Cross Arena, fans will have five opportunities to take advantage of this family-friendly promotion this season, starting on Sunday, October 16.
In recognition of Rochester’s “Hometown Heroes”, the Amerks are offering all military personnel, both past and present, with special $12.00 tickets for Upper and Lower bowl seating when you show your department, military or agency ID at the Box Office.
The Amerks and The Distillery have once again teamed up to offer the “Eats and Seats” ticket package for the 2011-12 season. For just $17.00, groups of two or more will receive one 200-End ticket to any Amerks home game and a $10.00 Distillery gift card to be used at any one of The Distillery’s four locations.
